Manuel Chrysoloras, Greek philosopher and translator (b. 1355)
Manuel (or Emmanuel) Chrysoloras (Greek: Μανουὴλ Χρυσολωρᾶς; c. 1355 – 15 April 1415) was Greek scholar and a pioneer in the introduction of Greek literature to Western Europe during the Late Middle Ages.
