Suresh Kumar Raina, Indian cricketer
Suresh Raina (pronunciation ; born 27 November 1986) is a former Indian international cricketer.He also served as stand-in captain for Indian men's national cricket team during absence of main captain, occasionally. He played for Uttarpradesh (UP) in domestic cricket circuit.He is an aggressive left-handed middle-order batsman and an occasional off-spin bowler. He is the second-youngest player ever to captain India. He was the captain of Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL) , and he also served as vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings. He is the first Indian batsman to hit a century in all three formats of international cricket.On 15 August 2020, Raina announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket. He pulled out from 2020 Indian Premier League due to personal reasons.Now he only remains active in IPL, during its annual two months league season.
